The match-funding partnership between BT Sport's The Supporters Club and the Premier League has secured a substantial grant over a three-year period for City in the Community, Manchester City's charitable foundation, to provide 1,000 young people with disabilities with free access to football.
The "One City" initiative will aim to improve the employability of young disabled people in Manchester. Fifteen per cent of young disabled people in the city are NEET (not in education employment or training) compared with 7% of their non-disabled peers.
