The Brazilian Midfielder Was Target For Many Clubs which Barcelona Refused to Pay £70 Million Asking Price , While potential Deal With Manchester United Involving Anthony Martial also never materialised.
Now Willian, who joined from Anzhi Makhachkala for £30m in 2013, is hoping to secure his long-term future at Chelsea with Maurizio Sarri replacing Antonio Conte.
“A lot of people, they say a lot of things, but I never said that I wanted to leave Chelsea, never," he told the club's official website.
Willian admits he would've quit Chelsea if Conte was still in charge
“I always say that I want to stay at Chelsea as long as possible and I am happy to stay here.
“When I arrived here my plan was to stay here as long as possible and now I am here for five years I hope to stay five more.
“I know I have two years of contract left but I hope to stay more years in the Premier League.”
